energy issues with an emphasis on specializing in nuclear fusion, Dr. Makhijani is the author and
co-author of numerous reports and books on energy and environmental related
issues. He is the principal author of the first study of the energy efficiency
potential of the United
States economy and principal editor of Nuclear Wastelands: A Global Guide to
Nuclear Weapons Production and Its Health and Environmental Effects,
nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Makhijani is recipient of numerous awards and in
2007 he was elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society. Dr. Makhijani
has testified before Congress and appeared on ABC World New Tonight, the CBS Evening News, NPR, and CNN sharing his expertise on
